Introduction :

Capital Gate Exhibition  center is s a modern building owned by Abu Dhabi National Exhibition company, Located in United Arab Emirates , Emirate Of Abu Dhabi.

In Mussafah Road  15 Minute driving from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Capital Gate Abu Dhabi Compound contain Two Hotels Hayatt and Aloft .More Over It contain An Exhibition Center  with 12 main Halls which can be booked for any kind of festivals or celebration . A paid parking are available for the guests.

All The paid parking s are located on the tower “in door areas”. ADNEC staff are available their 24/7 to serve the guest and to arrange all kind of celebration.

The prices for both hotels on a Medium package rang and they have continuous offers run on the whole year.

In This report we will concern about Capital Gate Tower which is a part from  Capital Gate exhibition  center . We will look over

1-The designing and the construction companies that designed and built the tower

2-  Designed material which keep the tower Unique

3-Construction, process , Material and feature.

Designing and constructing companies for Capital Gate Abu Dhabi:

The capital center was designed by International architecture firm RMJM, and it also designed the Abu Dhabi Exhibition center ADNEC’. Al Habtoor Leighton Group was the construction companies which build up the project and Mace Group was the project management company. ‘The project started around 2007, and the completion was in 2011’.
AlHabtoor Leighton group:
A lHabtoor It is a company started in early 1970. At that time, the company name was Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises, and it was founded by Mr. Raid Tawfik Al Sadick and Mr. Khalaf Al Habtoor. The company became one of the biggest companies around the Middle East region.

Leighton Group:” was established in Victoria, Australia in 1949 and is now headquartered in Sydney. The Group operates across the globe and has annual revenues in excess of US$ 18 billion”… (AlHabtoor, 2012)

Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall (RMJM):  Is an International company established in1956 by an architect’s Matthew and Stirrat Johnson in Scotland (UK). The company is Known to be one of the best companies in the world in architecture with 3 branches in Middle East, 3 in Asia and America. And in UAE the company was certified 3 times because of capital gate

Mace Group:  Is an international consultancy and Construction Company started in 1990. They provide fully project management programs which cover from the design period till the end of the project including construction delivery, construction cost and facilities management.

The Design of Capital Gate Abu Dhabi:
Capital Gate Abu Dhabi is a160m tall Tower with 35 floors, more than 16,000sqm of offices space, as well as a 5 star Hotel.
Capital gate was built using dramatic steel with facade glass. It was built in a way of striking architectural form, with a cantilevered lounge, and open area swimming pool. Designed steel “ splashes “ were designed to cover the outer area which directed to the sun light and also act as a solar device which saves energy .The top of the tower is covered with glass which allows the natural light to pass in so it will work as external light and it will save energy.
